Following are the objectives of Interministerial Collaboration 
1. Expansion of services of TB outside public health facilities. 
2. Reaching out to the larger population with information on prevention and TB care related services. 
3. Build capacity of functionaries in all departments to address TB preventions and care activities in Schemes of their respective departments.
4. Ensure patient support through social assistance benefits to TB patients and affected family through existing Schemes. 
5. Effective scale up of non-medical interventions by leveraging linkages, outreach, technology, Financial inclusion to strengthen services for TB elimination.
Following are the expected outcomes of this collaboration
1. Mainstreaming of TB with ministries in the form of inter-ministerial coordination.
2. Strategies, workable plan and implementation to reach the unreached TB patients.
3. Increased Social protection and support to TB affected community.
4. Increase in awareness of TB.
5. Increase in TB Notification.
6. Stigma reduction among the TB community.
7. Gender-responsive plan to tackle the disease.
8. Zero cost management of TB cases.

Key achievements in the past years-

Interministerial coordination

-Formalized Partnership with 08 Ministries. 
-Letters have been sent by Hon’ble HFM to Hon’ble Union Ministers of 23 Key Ministries and NITI Aayog for multisectoral collaboration and convergent actions.
-Discussion/ Meeting held with Several Ministries on one-to-one basis in the chairpersonship of AS (H), MoHFW 
-Partnership proposed for entering into MoUs.
-Draft MoU has been shared with Ministries. 
-Meeting held with MoWCD, MSME, MoRTH MoHI, MEITY,  Corporate Affairs, MoCOAL etc
