Extensive or severe form of TB
- Disseminated TB, bilateral cavitary disease or extensive parenchymal damage (e.g., lobe collapse, fibrotic tracks or atelectasis, more than three zones with cavities or six radiological zones) on chest radiography.
- In children aged under 15 years, advanced disease is usually defined by the presence of cavities or bilateral disease on chest radiography.
