Planning State and District TB program implementation (PIP)

STDCs need to support the state and districts in identifying the priority problems and suggest solutions. This could be achieved through continuous data monitoring and based on inputs from supervisory visits and evaluations. Following activities are expected from STDC in this regard

  • Gap Analysis: Through analysis of the existing data and observations from the supervisory visits and evaluation, a district wise gap analysis need to be prepared.
  • Identification of priority areas: Based on analysis priority areas may be identified for each district
  • One to One interaction with each district finalizing the PIP while suggesting possible solutions for the identified priority areas
  • Prepare an activity plan containing Financial and Non-financial activities and monitor the progress against the activities

STDC staff may need to get trained in the process of PIP. Medical Officer (SM&E) will be the nodal person responsible for the activity.
