TB treatment is supervised by a trained Treatment Supporter (TS), such as a health worker, family member, or community volunteer<\/strong><\/span>. Patient addresses are verified through home visits. In case of treatment interruption, retrieval actions are initiated promptly:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Immediate Retrieval (within 24 hours):<\/strong><\/span> TS, ASHA, ANM, or MPW should contact the patient, review reasons for interruption, and counsel them to resume treatment.<\/li>\n\t
Escalation to Supervisors:<\/strong><\/span> If the TS fails, the case must be reported to the Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS), who will ensure further efforts to retrieve the patient.<\/li>\n\t
Repeated Interruptions: <\/strong><\/span>For recurring interruptions, the Medical Officer at the Peripheral Health Institute (MO-PHI) must visit the patient, provide intensive counseling, and offer additional support to prevent further lapses.<\/li>\n\t
