ટીબીના દર્દીઓનું ફોલો-અપ

ટીબી સારવારની અસર જાણવા માટે અને દર્દીની બીજી તકલીફ જાણવા માટે ટીબીના દર્દીઓની સારવારના મહિનાના અંતે તબીબી તપાસ કરવામાં આવે છે, અને સારવારના દરેક તબક્કાના ( 2 મહિને અને સારવારના અંતે) અંતે ગળફાની તપાસ (સ્પુટમ ટેસ્ટ) કરીને તેમનું ફોલો-અપ પણ કરવામાં આવે છે 

ક્લિનિકલ તપાસ દરમિયાન ટીબીના દર્દીઓનું વિવિધ તપાસ કરવામાં આવે છે -
•    આડઅસર વિષે તપાસો;
•    કોઈપણ કોમોર્બિડ સ્થિતી (એચઆઈવી, ડાયાબીટીસ, કોવિડ)  માટે તપાસો;
•    વજનમાં ફેરફાર
•    સારવાર પાલનનું મૂલ્યાંકન કરો
•    લક્ષણોનું અવલોકન કરીને સારવારની અસરકારકતા નક્કી કરો

જો કે દરેક દર્દીને સારવારની અલગ-અલગ અસર થતી હોય છે, ટીબીના તમામ લક્ષણો ધીમે ધીમે સુધરવા જોઈએ અને છેવટે દૂર થઈ જવા જોઈએ.

જે દર્દીઓના લક્ષણો સારવારના પ્રથમ ૨ મહિના દરમિયાન સુધરતા નથી, અથવા જેમના લક્ષણો શરૂઆતમાં સુધરી ગયા પછી વધુ વણસી જાય છે, તેઓનું સારવાર-પાલન સંબંધી સમસ્યાઓ અને દવાની અસરકારક્તા વિષે તપાસ ડોક્ટર દ્વારા થવી જોઇએ.

Added two sentences for DRTB patients. 

"TB patients are followed up based on the type and duration of the treatment regimen. A day may be identified by N/DDR-TBC for all monthly visits of the DR TB patients. Any patients on DR TB regimen should be assessed by a treained doctor in PMDT guidelines for clinical evaluation and if required for other diagnostics tests. "
