Contracts that are a mix of more than one type of contract<\/span>. <\/strong>In a contract that is a hybrid input-output contract, the procuring entity (i.e. state) may decide to link 70 percent of the payments <\/strong><\/span>to outputs and 30 percent of the payments<\/span><\/strong> to inputs or activities. This type of structure can be useful if the state sees value in monitoring the quality of inputs\/activities.
