Management of tobacco use among people with TB :<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

While registering a TB case, the status of tobacco use is recorded in Ni-kshay<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n\t
If the person affected by TB is a smoker or tobacco user, they are counselled to quit tobacco use<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\t
The individual needs to be assessed at every visit for TB and status of tobacco use.<\/li>\n\t
If the person has not quit tobacco use, they need to be referred to the nearest Tobacco Cessation Clinic(TCC) or Quit Line or mCessation Initiative.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n\t
