  • पल्मोनरी टीबी (PTB) मध्ये प्रामुख्याने फुफ्फुसांचा समावेश होतो. खालील लक्षणांसाठी   तपासणी(स्क्रीनिंग) केली पाहिजे:

  • ज्ञात सक्रिय टीबी क्षयरुग्णाशी जवळच्या संपर्कात असणाऱ्या व्यक्तींची माहिती

  • उच्च-जोखीम गट: पीएल एचआयव्ही (people living with HIV) ,मधुमेह, कुपोषित, कर्करोग रुग्ण, इम्युनोसप्रेसिव्ह थेरपी किंवा स्टिरॉइड्स असलेले रुग्ण
