Drug transfer advice

Drug Transfer Advice (DTA) is used for transferring drugs between two same-level stores such as State Drug Store (SDS) to State Drug Store (SDS), District Drug Store (DDS) to District Drug Store (DDS) or Tuberculosis (TU) to Tuberculosis (TU) level. This process is used to transfer excess drug stocks or near-expiry drugs to another same-level store so that they can be consumed on time.

Detailed stepwise procedure:

Step 1: Go to the Ni-kshay Aushadhi website and click on login. Enter your User ID, Password and then the captcha text and click login.

Step 2: Reach the DTA Drug Transfer Advice window following the path Home > Services > Issue Dispatch > DTA Drug Transfer Advice and select your store.

Step 3: In the next window, select the drug category to be transferred from the drop-down menu of the ‘TB Category’ and ‘Drug Name’ sections.

Step 4:  Select the name of the transferring store. Against each store, the quantity available and expiry date will be displayed. To transfer the near expiry drug, enter the quantity in the ‘Near to Expiry' column and to transfer normal/excess stock, enter the transfer quantity into the ‘Normal’ column.

Step 5:  Scroll down to select the name of the receiving store and enter the transfer quantities in the relevant columns.

Step 6:  Click on ‘Draft Save’. Once saved, you still can modify, view or delete this request by choosing the appropriate options.

Step 7:  Once you have added all the supplies, click on the ‘Final Save’ to generate the transfer advice voucher. This voucher can be saved or printed as per the need.
