An SMS is triggered to the patient's mobile number registered in Nikshay. SMS can be related to notification, treatment initiation and treatment outcome.

Mandatory SMS
  • On the day of Notification of TB Patient in Nikshay Portal
  • On 7th day of every treatment month, if the adherence score for the previous 30 days is less than 50%
  • Four SMS: SMS to be sent on Date of Treatment Outcome + 6 M/12 M/18 M & 24 M
