Learning Objectives- The National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) is the public health initiative of the Government of India that organizes the country’s Tuberculosis Elimination efforts.
- NTEP is a centrally sponsored scheme being implemented under the aegis of the National Health Mission with resources sharing between the State Governments and the Central Government.
- The program provides various free of cost, quality tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment services across the country.

- தேசிய காசநோய் ஒழிப்பு திட்டம் (NTEP)
- தேசிய காசநோய் ஒழிப்பு திட்டம் என்பது இந்திய அரசின் மாபெரும் பொது சுகாதார முன்னெடுப்பு ஆகும்.
- இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம் நாட்டில் உள்ள அனைத்து வகையான காசநோய்களையும் முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டு வர முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன
- தேசிய காசநோய் ஒழிப்பு திட்டமானது மத்திய அரசின் பங்களிப்பில் தேசிய சுகாதார இயக்கத்தின் மூலம் செயல்படுத்தப்படுன்கிறது. இதற்கான நிதி, மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகளால் பகிந்துக்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றது.
- இந்த திட்டத்தின் மூலம், தரமான காசநோயை கண்டறிதல் மற்றும் அதற்கான சிகிச்சை முறைகள் இலவசமாக நாடுமுழுவதும் அளிக்கப்படுகின்றது
