Conducting Pharmacovigilance under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n
The Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) was set up by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, in July 2010. PvPI is India\u2019s national programme for surveillance of ADR-related information.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n
NTEP in collaboration with PvPI, and with support from WHO India, developed the comprehensive active Drug Safety Monitoring and Management (aDSM) system for ADR monitoring. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

DR-TB centres are linked with ADR Monitoring Centres <\/strong><\/span>(AMC) established in medical colleges to initiate reporting of ADR in a systematic manner.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t

Serious adverse events are reported to AMCs and Central TB Division (CTD) within 24 hours<\/span><\/strong>. From Nikshay, the information is directly communicated to PvPI through a connecting bridge called Vigiflow<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t
